GridSnap Privacy Policy
GridSnap is a Chrome extension that lets a user select an HTML table on a webpage and download that table as a CSV file. This policy explains how GridSnap handles data.
Data GridSnap handles
Website content: GridSnap detects HTML tables on webpages and reads the text contained in the table the user chooses to export. The table text is processed locally in the user's browser solely to create the requested CSV file.
User activity: GridSnap temporarily responds to hover, click, scroll, and window-resize events so it can display and position the export button next to a table. GridSnap does not record, retain, profile, or transmit these interactions.
How data is used
Website table content and temporary interaction signals are used only to provide GridSnap's user-facing table-to-CSV export feature. GridSnap does not use this information for advertising, analytics, profiling, model training, credit decisions, or unrelated purposes.
Storage, sharing, and transmission
GridSnap does not send webpage content or user activity to Loren's AI Solutions or any third party. The extension does not maintain a developer-operated database of exported data. The generated CSV is downloaded directly to the user's device and remains under the user's control.
The extension contains optional links to Stripe-hosted checkout pages. Opening a checkout page takes the user to Stripe's website. GridSnap does not send captured table content to Stripe and does not receive or store card details. Information entered on Stripe is handled under Stripe's privacy policy.
Website access
GridSnap uses the <all_urls> content-script match pattern so its table detection and export button can work on webpages the user visits. GridSnap reads only the table selected for export and processes it locally.
Retention and deletion
GridSnap does not retain webpage table content or interaction data in extension storage. Downloaded CSV files are retained only as directed by the user through the browser and operating system and can be deleted by the user at any time.
Security
GridSnap is designed to process table content locally. Any external checkout page opened by the extension uses an HTTPS URL.
Children's privacy
GridSnap is a general-purpose productivity utility and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when GridSnap's functionality or data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are made.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use disclosure
